Attack Unhelpful Thoughts

Last week my best friend called me because she was anxious.  She was in a new social situation and felt like everyone was against her, judging her, looking down on her.

This is for those moments.  This is for when your anxious thoughts get the better of you.

Remember, anxious thoughts are just that.  Thoughts.  They only exist in your head.  You get to make them and you can diffuse them.

On the other hand, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t all out to get you.  Best to figure out what’s causing your anxiety.  Are you anxious because your brain is going into overdrive or are you anxious because he spilled a drink on your dress and then called you a clumsy idiot in front of the whole party?

And always remember, if you’re having a thought and it isn’t helpful to you, let it go.  

Take a cold hard look at your brain and tell it:
